Q1     I am a registered member of your site. I have my portfolio in the site but I am not getting the way to delete the shares when I have sold it already. Please suggest how to do?
A1    After opening your portfolio, please click on the Gain/Loss figure of the company which you want to delete. In the next screen, click on the ‘Date’ link. If you want to update partially sold share, please modify the changes and click on 'Update' and 'Update it' icon in the next screen. If you want to delete, click on 'Delete' icon and 'Delete It' buttons.  

Q2     While using your portfolio section, I am unable to get scrip like ACC to add. Please help.
A2     Your would have tried with company name as 'ACC'. Try with long name ie Associated Cement Companies', you will get it.

Q3      I am a registered user, but am unable to access my account. I am getting the same screen even after the login.
A3      Please note that sometimes you may get the same screen even after successful login. If you scroll down and click on 'My Portfolio' / 'Stock Talk' you will get the access.

Q4     Currently I recorded all purchases in my portfolio on your website. I wouldlike to maintain the sell transactions also. How do I do this?
A4     After opening your portfolio, please click on 'Gain / Loss' of the appropriate company on which you want to make changes and click on the 'Date' and make changes on this (Buy / Sell), then, click on 'Update' button, your changes will be updated.

Q5      RS SOFTWARE name may kindly be included in the list of companies for preparing the Portfolio Account please.
A5     R S Software is already available for portfolio. If you type "R S Software" (Leave space between R and S) While searching the company name, you will get it.

Q6.     The Sensex and IT ticker is showing previous days prices often.
A6.     This could be a problem of Browser settings. Change the following settings and try.

1) If you are using, Internet Explorer.
Click View / Tools ->Internet Options ->Temporary Internet Files ->Settings
and make 'Every visits to the pages' at 'Check newer versions of the stored
pages'.

2) If you are using Netscape 5.0
Click Edit->Preferences ->Advanced ->Cache and make it 'Every Time' at
'Document in cache is compared to document on network'

Q7.     In the bottom Sensex and IT companies ticker, I could see only the Date and Sensex Price. I am not able to see     Sensex companies prices.
A7. The browser font size might be more than the normal size. If you are using Internet Explorer, change the View -> Text Size to Normal. And if it is Netscape, change the font size to 10 from Edit->Preferences ->Fonts

Q8.      Hello, The applets don’t run on my computer, do I have to change my settings?
A8.      Java Virtual Machine would have been disabled. To enable this,

1) If you are using Internet Explorer
Click View -> Tools ->Internet Options ->Advanced
Scroll down and under ‘VM’ enable both `Java Console enabled’ and JIT Compiler for Virtual Machine enabled and click OK.
